Thankyou so much for the “lockdown webinars”! It has allowed me to engage with the manual therapy side of my business not otherwise possible right now, but also to take a moment to examine my current thinking & the language I use around anatomy and functional movement. Being presented from more of a manual therapy point of view is invaluable and I really appreciate the straight-forward approach and cutting the jargon!
I have long found dissection my favourite way to learn but this has enabled me to underpin my approach in treating bodies as a whole and my Pilates students have loved my renewed enthusiasm for dealing with their issues through functional movement.

Ruth Larkin – Pilates Instructor

The webinars provide a window into the world of what goes on under the skin.  Excellent explanations about what’s what, what’s connected to what, how everything is connected to something, and how something is connected to everything.  Julians sessions teach anatomy in a way that provides a visual demonstration combined with excellent descriptions, information and understanding.  The webinars are excellent for all manual therapists, providing a deeper knowledge of the structures of the body addressed during a treatment, and their influence on other parts of the body.  A chance to learn from a master of anatomy in an easy and accessible way.

Kylie Williams – Bowen Therapist

In 2015 I qualified as a level 5 sports & remedial massage therapist. I have loved working in this area of soft tissue therapy, and attended various CPD along the way. However this webinar series has by far been the most fascinating and eye opening CPD that I have come across. I fully recommend anyone who works with the body to watch them as you really will get an incredible insight into what’s really inside us (not quite the clean clear cut imagery you see in most anatomy books!). I hope there are plenty more webinars to come, I genuinely look forward to my Tuesday evenings, thank you Julian & Cara!

Tom Sheppard – Sport & Remedial Massage Therapist

During this very unique time we find ourselves in known as ‘Lockdown’ it has been a pleasure logging in each Tuesday to Julian’s live Webinars. They have been stimulating, energetic and packed full of information to get your brain ticking. I am in absolute awe of Julian’s knowledge, expertise and plethora of passion for the human body and dissection. I’ve even [had] my team to join in the webinars too.

As a hands on Sports Therapist of 14 years, I have a constant hunger for knowledge. I first met Julian on his 5 day hands on dissection course at Imperial College, London in 2015 and it changed everything. The way I view the human body, life as a whole and how I communicate with my clients in clinic regarding their injuries and treatment plan.

So if you’re stuck in a rut during Lockdown, hand over £5 and join in these amazing live webinars. If you can’t make the date and time, you can always pay for the replay. Julian, thank you.

Sophie Vowden – BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy

Frankly, these webinars have felt like a lifeline in these horrible days when we are not able to pursue our calling as therapists. I am a Bowen Therapist, who has been taught and inspired over many years by Julian.
There are times when all of us, I am sure, wonder if we will ever treat again. So it has been good to have the brain engaged and to start thinking about how we can better treat our clients, give better outcomes and to understand fully, what it is we are feeling under our hands.
And of course re-engage with my Bowen teaching!
I can’t wait to start work again.
